About the event
Currently underway for The Anger Project is a documentary-style film series, each short film highlighting one person’s anger story through movement and conversation. During this gathering, we will share one of these films, The Anger Project: Celina's Story, and create space to witness, reflect, and respond together. The film explores experiences of addiction, recovery, and suicidality, and may bring up strong emotions for some viewers. Following the screening, participants will be invited into a facilitated, body-based process of reflection and collective sharing as we consider what becomes possible when anger is met with attention, care, and community.
This is a donation-based workshop with a suggested donation of $20 (NOTAFLOF). All proceeds are being donated to Unity Center of Des Moines. Please register ahead of time here. Donations will be taken at the door.
