AP Workshop Series

During Anger Project Workshops we may dance, write, draw, scream, play, share stories, smash things, sing and engage in embodiment activities designed to bring us into deeper relationship with ourselves and one another. Body focused, workshops rely heavily on movement improvisation, writing, sharing and grounding exercises. They often start off with prompts. Examples: How were you taught to engage/not engage with anger? Who "educated" you; what role did they play? Was the expression of anger and/or suppression of it conditioned by race, sex, gender identity, gender expression, class, religion, or something else? Where do you feel anger in your body? What does it feel like? What is it asking of you?

No art/dance experience of any kind is needed to participate.

Please note: Anger Project Workshops are intended to be taken as a whole with the understanding that people have jobs and obligations and may not be able to make every workshop. All participants will have an opportunity to share their experiences at the Workshop Showing on April 7th.

Location: CATALYST Creative Collective (4500 N. Oracle Rd Suite 110). Please note: this is located inside the mall. The most convenient parking area is between Sears & JCPenny. Enter at Tucson Mall doors. Take the first right and CATALYST will be located on your left.
